Growing Up Neurodivergent
Growing up neurodivergent can be both a gift and a challenge. Many neurodivergent people experience the world with remarkable creativity, curiosity, and unique ways of thinking. At the same time, they may spend years feeling misunderstood or wondering why life seems to come so naturally to everyone else.
I know that experience personally.
Growing up neurodivergent has shaped the way I see both myself and others. It has taught me to recognize the strengths that often accompany neurodivergence, while also understanding the exhaustion that can come from trying to fit into a world that wasn't designed with every mind in mind.
One of the greatest gifts therapy can offer is a place where you no longer have to mask.
Whether you're a teenager discovering your identity, a parent trying to better understand your child, or an adult who has spent years feeling "different," therapy can become a place where authenticity replaces performance. Together, we can explore your strengths, understand the challenges you face, and build practical tools that support the way your mind works.
I don't see neurodivergence as something to fix.
I see it as a different way of experiencing the world—one that deserves understanding, respect, and support rather than judgment.
My hope is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be yourself, because meaningful growth begins when we no longer have to hide who we are.
